Life in the Hamptons: A Tale of Two Seasons
For summer visitors, the Hamptons is a beachside paradise. For many local families, it's the busiest work season, with jobs in construction, landscaping, cleaning, restaurants, and retail.
But when summer ends, work often slows as seasonal homes close, businesses reduce staffing, and outdoor jobs wind down. Combined with high housing costs and rising everyday expenses, these seasonal shifts make it difficult for many hardworking Springs families to make ends meet.
We're fortunate to receive fresh produce from generous local farms during the growing season. But providing healthy food year-round means purchasing essentials like chicken, beef, pork, fish, eggs, milk, yogurt, and fruits and vegetables when local produce isn't available.
Your donations help us fill those gaps and keep healthy food on our neighbors' tables, every week of the year.
