Events Coordinator

Amy Leopold

Amy Leopold brings more than 40 years of experience as a certified rehabilitation counselor, disability management expert, and advocate. After earning her Master of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling from Boston University, she held rehabilitation counseling and management positions in the Boston area and with UNUM Life Insurance Company in New York before establishing her independent practice in 1996. Throughout her career, Amy has helped individuals navigate complex disability, vocational rehabilitation, and Social Security benefit issues, with a deep commitment to fairness, dignity, and ensuring people receive the support to which they are entitled.

Amy also serves on the Board of Pitch Your Peers Hamptons, a women-led philanthropic organization supporting local nonprofit initiatives on the East End.

As Events Coordinator for Springs Food Pantry, Amy plays a key role in organizing the Pantry’s fundraising events and community outreach efforts, while also volunteering with food distribution. She is passionate about raising awareness of food insecurity and the financial pressures faced by many working families in Springs and across East Hampton. As Amy says, “Helping those in need is more than an act of kindness—it is a shared responsibility. We may not be able to repair everything that's broken in the world, but together, we can repair what's broken in our own backyard.”
