Many know George for his remarkable creative career as a writer, advertising executive, and artist. At the Pantry, we know him for his generosity, kindness, and steady support each week.

George and his husband, Gus Yero, have become valued members of our volunteer family, regularly helping on Monday mornings, Wednesday mornings produce packing, and during our busy Wednesday afternoon distributions. Whether they’re preparing fresh produce, helping with carry-out, or making sure families leave with a warm welcome and helping hands, their commitment makes a real difference.

We love seeing the many talents of our volunteers celebrated in the community, and we’re grateful for all that George brings to Springs Food Pantry.
